The role: AO8 Iteration Manager (Project Manager)

Location: Brisbane CBD

Start Date: January 2026

Engagement type: Non-ongoing

Contract Length: 6-months (possible extension)

Pay: $147,768 to $156,143

Hours: Full time with hybrid model


Role Overview

Provide expert, strategic, tactical advice and prepare high quality, complex written

reports, consultation papers briefing notes and submissions for the Families

Commissioning Executive Director.

Lead, establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies

and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day

to day operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, develop and drive all iteration rituals using Agile Project Management principles and practices to support the planning and delivery of the Project.
  • Develop, monitor and communicate team reporting and metrics and facilitate communications between the delivery team members, Team Leads and the business.
  • Lead and coach delivery teams to be successful, self-organising and adapt to change including implementation of a Project Management solution.
  • Facilitate the identification and estimation of the delivery features across the branch.
  • Consult, coach and advise the team in story elaboration process ensuring clarity and purpose of the work defined.
  • Provide leadership and oversee the work of the Team Leads and delivery team to manage scope within iterations and help to remove blockers.

Key Capabilities & Skills:

Strong skills in applying Agile methodology and coaching teams.

Ability to define business requirements and manage timelines.

Experience leading change to ensure successful implementation.

Ability to guide the team to clearly define project work (story elaboration).

Proven ability to build a supportive, high-performing team environment.
